Fire Up, Nedd.

In late 2024 I had the enormous honour of being asked to paint at the Bondi Sea Wall.

Keeping in mind so many different people from all over the world would be viewing this piece on a daily basis, I wanted to paint someone who not only had significance to Bondi Beach but who I thought encapsulated Aussie spirit and who better than Nedd Brockmann.

Nedd’s enthusiastic energy, yet honest and genuine nature has inspired so many to grab life by the balls. He has that infectious never give up attitude that most of our great countrymen seem to have, a modern day Aussie icon, and a bloody good bloke!
