G’day, here’s a bit about me…
Samuel Hall AKA Samwell is multidisciplinary artist whose work ranges from large scale public work, to canvas painting, clay sculpting and beyond. Working as a freelance artist for almost a decade both in Australia and abroad, his trajectory has been ever changing, and after fighting an ever present neurological disease since his late teens, he has shifted his focus back to his illustration roots.
This shift from realism focused work to more illustrative and playful stylised work was a calculated and long pondered, giving him power to take back control of his creative independence and holistic health, in turn creating a deeper message in his work. As well as classic visual art, Sam is now diving into the sculpture and more studio focused work to balance the mural and large scale artworks.
His greatest focus is now to spread awareness and positivity through his own battles with chronic pain, shaping not only his outlook on life, but his outlook on his purpose as a creative, and the message he hopes to leave behind for others to gain inspiration from.
